Tamara J. Collins writes from inspiration surrounding her growing up in beautiful Southern VT, Seacoast NH & Los Angeles, CA. Her writing is influenced from her adventures and life experiences.

Tamara is consistently a work in progress, learning-unlearning-and-learning again she researches, and re-invents herself as she grows which is captured through her writing.

She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of New Hampshire and she has spent an additional five years studying alongside other writers in Writing Workshops for Essays, Fiction, and Poetry prior to founding the Portsmouth Writers Salon in January of 2013.
She most recently, published a couple of interviews (cover stories) with Lori Tiernan and Eva Marino for Portsmouth Living Magazine (May & June 2018). And has a poem in the upcoming collection of Good Fat ‘Zine Vol. 4 (March 2019).
